Fishing Lake Houston 11/19/06

I caught a catfish today. It's one of my new hobbies since there are about five billion catfish in Lake Houston. Actually the last time the lake was stocked according to Fishing Lake Houston's website was in 73'. There is not five billion. Just lots. I took an 18" fish out of the lake today and three hours later, I had these:

All I have to say is, YUMTASTIC. I love fishing. I'm not really fond of cutting them open or beating the really feisty ones over the head to kill em quicker to prevent their guts from flying everywhere once you cut them open. Other than that. It's a rewarding hobby. I mean, I invested in a pretty nice rod & reel combo and now I can just go a couple miles away to the cove and pull out FREE FOOD! and I'm totally bummed right now if you don't like catfish, wait no I'm not because I LIKE IT SO BACK THE F OFF!!!!!!! I have grilled it with all kinds of spices including Jamaican Jerk.. YUM! and this last batch fried with italian spices and franks red hot sauce.. mMmM!
